Nat has over 15 years of experience as a teacher, mentor and facilitator, and is deeply committed to nurturing creativity and curiosity in both young people and adults.
She has delivered and curated Introduction to Shakespeare workshops for schools across the UK, with the critically acclaimed cycling Shakespeare company, The Handlebards.
Nat has collaborated on outreach programmes with Sheffield Theatres, the Young Vic, Bristol Old Vic, Theatre Royal Bath and Wessex Grove to make theatre as accessible as possible to a wide range of communities.
She has directed at a range of drama schools and institutions, including East 15 Acting School, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Bristol School of Acting, Bath Theatre Academy, and Identity School of Acting, where she was a Resident Acting Tutor and Freshers Coordinator in Brixton, supporting actors in both their technical and pastoral development.
Nat is a visiting lecturer with The Wardrobe Ensemble on the BA Theatre-Making course at BSA. This year, she is the lead practitioner guiding the creation of two devised final-year productions to be performed at The Tobacco Factory.
She is also working with the Adult Company at Bristol Old Vic, curating a term of autobiographical work that challenges traditional forms of storytelling. Nat is especially passionate about working with people from communities who have never seen themselves reflected in the arts.
She has developed productions and workshops for children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)in collaboration with Oily Cart, and regularly develops summer seasons of work with young artists across South East London.
